Tree Pollen Respiratory Allergy Panel

4.9 (120+ Verified Reviews)

The Tree Pollen Respiratory Allergy Test Panel measures immunoglobulin E (IgE) antibodies produced in the blood in response to certain tree pollen allergens. This panel measures immune responses to maple, birch, mountain cedar, oak, elm, walnut, sycamore, cottonwood, white ash, white mulberry, pecan/hickory, olive, and acacia.

With this allergy test, a blood sample is drawn and checked for the levels of antibodies your immune system produces in response to common tree pollen allergens. It’s a quick, convenient way to test for multiple allergens at one time. There’s no need to stop any allergy medications you may currently be taking and because this is only a blood draw, there is no exposure to an allergen and therefore no risk of severe allergic reactions, which is not the case with skin testing.

No doctor’s visit needed.

This panel measures the levels of IgE antibodies in your blood made by your immune system in response to certain tree pollen allergens:

Maple
Birch
Mountain cedar
Oak
Elm
Walnut
Sycamore
Cottonwood
White ash
Pecan/hickory
Olive
Acacia
IgE antibodies are normally found in small amounts in the blood, but larger amounts can be a sign that the body overreacts to allergens. This overreaction can cause your body to produce histamine and trigger an allergic reaction.
